Stir Crazy

I am really ready for Spring. I am not usually like that. I love playing in the snow and used to ski in my younger (child free) days. I think the reason is because I am unemployed.

For the first 7 years of Hannah's life, and first 2 years of Chloe's life I worked full time. I was able to quit when Caleb was born. I was never home. Some days I would leave the house at 8:30 a.m. and get home at 9:30 p.m.

Now I am home all the time. Some days I don't even leave the house. This is quite a change for me.

Caleb and Chloe are into everything. As you can see, Caleb likes to play in the dishwasher. He figured out how to unlock the door. He puts all the dishes in the sink or vice versa. I never know what is clean any more. Chloe is in the kitchen looking for food all day. She will eat her lunch and start looking for yogos a half an hour later. Then she will not eat her dinner, and want chips before bed.

Were my girls like that for the babysitter? I would like to think they behaved. All this is just being a kid and my kids are not really trouble makers. I just need to have warm weather so I can send them out to play. They will probably get into the dirt and squirt each other with the hose, but right now I welcome that.

Just so you know, Hannah was never like that at my house. Chloe was still a baby and had bottles, so she didn't go wandering around my house wanting more to eat. =) Hannah was a very good, quite girl at my house. I am so ready for spring as well!! It would be so nice to send all the kids plus the daycare kids outside to play!

Just make sure you don't throw the baby out with the dish water! Or is that bathwater?

I feel for you with the dishwasher situation. Madisen does the same thing. I was telling Matt that we need a new dishwasher that is baby proof.

Come to AZ, Alley, we play outside all year! Unfortunately our backyard is all dirt but at least they're not in the kitchen, right?
